Value of critical coagulation test value in predicting the condition of severe neonates

Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of critical value of coagulation test for the prediction of severe neonatal condition.Methods From January 2018 to December 2018, 150 cases of severe neonates treated in the intensive care unit of our hospital, who evaluated the condition according to the critical value of coagulation test were selected as observation group. In addition, from January 2017 to December 2017,150 cases of severe neonates treated in the intensive care unit of our hospital, who the critical value of coagulation test was not used were selected as as the control group. The condition prediction between the two groups were compared. Results The related treatment time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05). Among the 22 children with a critical value of blood coagulation test, 12 cases(54.55%) had low Fg values, 5 cases(22.73%) had high PT values and 2 cases(9.09%) had high APTT values, 1 case(4.55%) with low FG value combined with high PT value, 1 case(4.55%) with low FG value combined with high APTT value and 1 case(4.55%) with high PT value combined with high APTT value; condition distribution, there were 7 cases(31.82%) of sepsis, 4 cases(18.18%) of respiratory failure, 3 cases(13.64%) of respiratory distress syndrome, 3 cases(13.64%) of severe pneumonia, 2 cases(9.09%) of hyperbilirubinemia, 1 case(4.55%) of poisoning and asphyxia, 2 cases(9.09%) of vitamin K deficiency. The mortality rate of observation group was 6.00%, which was significantly lower than 14.00% of control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of critical value of coagulation test in the prediction of neonatal condition can provide treatment basis for medical staff, shorten the hospitalization time of children, and reduce mortality.
