The influence of carpooling on the attraction range of urban rail transit stations is analyzed. Firstly, the travel mode of travelers based on rail transit is analyzed, and the determination method of the indirect attraction range of metro stations is determined. Then, according to the method of determining the attraction range of urban rail transit stations and taking the travel utility as the measurement standard, the calculation models of "rail + conventional bus" and "rail +carpool" are established respectively. Finally, taking Nanjing Jiaoyuan Station as an example, the change of indirect attraction range of Jiaoyuan Station in Nanjing is calculated. The results show that when the connection mode changes from conventional public transportation to carpooling, the indirect attraction range of Nanjing Jiaoyuan Station becomes significantly larger.
